Laws
Introduction
By choosing to participate in Pyko Semi-RP, all players are consenting to comply with the RP (Role Play) laws that are solely enforceable within Sterling (Safe Zone). If a player is unwilling to participate in RP or adhere to Sterling law, the best solution is to reside and play outside of Sterling to avoid RP interactions.
In the event that a civilian violates any law, the SPD (Sterling Police Department) will take appropriate action by engaging in RP and interacting with the civilian, which may result in fines or imprisonment if an arrest is made. Failure to engage in context of being arrested is considered Fail-RP which can result in suspension or a ban in severe cases.
The SPD’s mission is to offer a fun RP experience within Pyko Semi-RP while also creating an economic risk for players who engage in illegal activities as a means of generating income.
If a player feels they have been treated poorly in any regard it is encourage to record and report this behaviour to make the police on Pyko Semi-RP a better experience for all players.

Getting Arrested
During an arrest, the SPD will provide civilians with the opportunity to comply with their directives in order to facilitate a swift and efficient arrest to the best of their ability.
If a civilian decides to flee from the police and manages to escape, the police will not pursue unless the suspect has clearly retreated to a secured location, which may be considered for a raid.
If a suspect is tased, they are required to comply with the arrest. If the suspect continues to resist after being apprehended, the Police may use a command that transports the player directly to a cell for processing.
Warranted Search
A warranted search is another way police can control illegal activity within buildings residing in Sterling (Safe Zone), a RP aspect to controlling crime without the need of conducting a raid. This will always be offered before executing a raid.
The process is as follows:
Police will arrive at the target building and communicate with the civilian that a search must be conducted to remove the search warrant on their property. If the civilian complies, the police will enter the property and handcuff any persons inside before searching and confiscating all illegal items on the persons and visible in the property.
If it is suspected that illegal items are within the lockers of the property, Police may select a single locker to be destroyed to collect any remaining illegal items.
Once the appropriate arrests, including fines or jail time has been issued, the SPD will leave the property. The penalties will be issued according to the compliance of the player(s) and the quantity of illegal items.
If the civilian declines the search, a raid will be organised at that time or a future date relative to the number of players and scenario.
If a search warrant has been active for over five days on a civilian’s property, the police will perform an offline forfeiture of illegal assets within the property. As part of this search, 25% of the lockers will be destroyed to search for any illegal items. The remaining gear inside will be stored temporarily. For instance, if there are 16 lockers, the police will destroy 4 of them.
Raids
The Raid
During a Police raid in Sterling, the safe zone is temporarily disabled and two teams are formed: Defenders and Police. The Defenders will try to protect their property from the attacking Police.
To ensure balance, the number of Police attackers entering the building must not be more than double the number of Defenders. Any number of Police may be stationed outside the property.
The attacking Police are allowed to use their own personal weapons during the raid, but they must be aware that they might lose them during the operation.
Preparation
After the raid is initiated, the Defenders will have approximately 5 to 10 minutes to prepare themselves. Meanwhile, the Police will be getting into attacking positions and preparing to assault the target building.
Any Police officers who are not involved in the attack itself will be tasked with maintaining crowd control and providing additional SPD support in the area.
Once the designated time period has elapsed, the Sterling safe zone will be deactivated, and the raid will commence.
After Death
If a member of the defending team dies during the raid, they are allowed to return to the location, but they cannot enter the raid zone until the operation has ended.
In the case of an attacker’s death during the raid, they must return and wait on standby for the conclusion of the operation before collecting any loot if the raid is successful. Attackers are not allowed to spawn kits, collect loot, or re-enter the raid area.
End of the Raid
There are two possible outcomes of a raid.
Outcome 1: The attackers (Police) are victorious and eliminate all Defenders. In this scenario, the Police will conduct a thorough search of their building until their operation is complete, securing any loot.
Outcome 2: The Defenders successfully fend off the Attackers. If this occurs, the Defenders will not face any consequences and will be granted a three-day immunity period and may loot the area.
